Online Classes: Help for Struggling Readers

I’m offering a series of online classes for parents and teachers in April on Zoom.
Does your child struggle to sound out words?
Do they find reading tiring? Boring? Frustrating? Slow?
Do they have difficulty recognizing a word from one page to the next?
Can they read a sentence, but not understand what they just read?
Join me to learn practical ways to support your child and help them master the skills necessary for successful reading. There are many skills involved in reading, and not all students develop these skills in the same way or at the same speed. Learn why students struggle with reading, and steps you can take to help them progress. Each student is unique. You will learn a variety of skills so you can determine the ones that work best for your child.

Monday April 12: Learning to Read/Crossing the visual midline
Monday April 19: Overlearning and memory/Oral reading
Monday April 26: Long term readers/Reading comprehension
